We made it!

Good morning, or afternoon, as the case may be! We made it to Japan. After a few long days of travel, we arrived early in the morning on Friday, July 30th. We are staying in a hotel on our new base, Yokota Air Base in Fussa, Japan. We are about an hour from downtown Tokyo, but where we are might be considered a quiet suburb of sorts. Things are going better than we expected- we should get our house and some of our belongings next week. We bought a minivan yesterday for only $600 US dollars!!! Jet lag had the girls up last night from about 1am to 2am and up again for the day at 5am. The sun was up by 4:45am!! Not fun! I guess it will take some time to adjust...to everything! Gotta run- more to come!
